Loving this round of The Arcade!! I know every time I'm excited but this one is just so very special! I can't wait for everyone to enjoy the fun and festive finds at the December edition.The event opens up at midnight December 1, 2014.

As The Arcade is just a few short hours from opening, you should definitely plan your shopping with the Shopping Guide.

The Arcade [Photobooth]

As the summer's ending and we pack away our sundresses, it's time for one last adventure on the boardwalk.  The Arcade opens Sunday, September 1st and soon practically all of Second Life® will be knocking each over to join in the gacha fun!

Just when you think there is no topping the last edition, the fabulous team at The Arcade tops themselves!  This month's event will bring some fabulous finds that will delight and amaze. I fell in love with the Worry Dolls from VCO. As a child, I had a collection of dolls that I stored in a little pouch. Every night when I went to bed I would tell the little dolls my worry and tuck under my pillow. By morning the worries I had would always be gone.

I had to make a post in honor of my little worry dolls! So happy this time they are out from under the pillow and having fun with me today at The Arcade.

Quick post today to showcase a sneak peek of the new Fei skin from Elysium that's coming March 15th to Skin Fair 2013! Also, I'm super excited to show off the new Pia skirt from [LeeZu!]. It's a mesh+system layer hybrid with a super sexy unzipped side panel.

I'm in love with Fei!  She's a beauty with lots of options for every lady! It even has a no brow option for a high fashion editorial look.

If you haven't had a chance to stop by Collabor88, be sure to grab the new blazer from Elate. It's fitted with a dramatic flair. There are several color options but a girl can't go wrong with black.

Fashion For Life 2013 is hours away and I'm really amazed by all the stunning creations this year. It's awe inspiring to know so many donated their time to such a great cause. I found inspiration in their efforts and I'm excited to share these beautiful works!

PULL created the most stunning jade green gown with such a lush texture, it was the dress that led me down the formal path! The golden bouquet upon my head is a stunner from Finesmith and one of my fav finds at FFL!

 Another tremendous find is the Dana gown from Bliss Couture. I love the sequins with the ombre effect!  The Miamai headpiece is one of the most original creations in SL, and for ages I've wanted to use it in a photo. I've tinted it a bit to coordinate, but I love unexpected macabre of it all. I had a bit of fun with the Shakeup! fans from The Arcade with each of my looks.

Last but not least is a new release from CIA! Ayla created something so original and chic. I loved the wild animal print panels over such a formal dress. I played up the colors with the new headpiece from Glam Affair available exclusively at Collabor88.

A few parting words today...

Inspiration guides me in life. It's where I find my peace.  Ever so more in these past few years, I try to let that little voice speak louder and lead the way. It's like learning to trust an instinct. As a cancer survivor, you learn to appreciate the that voice even more and strive to find that zone of comfort and creativity.  To all the survivors, caregivers & loved ones...make each moment count to honor the gifts we've been given and to honor those lost. Thank you to all of the designers, organizers and volunteers who put so much time and effort into this year's Fashion For Life 2013.

Fashion For Life 2013 is almost here and there is so much shopping goodness this year!! Kunglers Tufi dress is an emerald green delight!  I've styled it up with the LeeZu Silk Lana Top and added a few interesting accessories.

Magika has recently redone her hair textures and HUD packages. For a bargain price of 250L you can get every single regular hair color from blonde to black. If you want the candy colors or fades there are separate packs available. It's a great deal for anyone and the new styles are fabulous!

I swear right now, with all of the great events running it's a fashionista's dream come true! Enjoy all the amazing events and keep your style photos coming!!

My adventures in SL continue! Today I visited Immersiva, one of the most astounding art sims by the talented Bryn Oh!  It's full of macabre, whimsy and wonder. Of course I had to dress the part.

LeeZu released the Oxford Variant dress recently and it's a sexy take on a cute shift. It envelopes y ou in ribbons over a sheer overlay so you can see skin peeking through.  It's even got layer for the Lola Tango Appliers, but I like my small breasts so I'll leave that post to my sexier blog sisters.

The wrap sweater from Monso is another wonderful find that's perfect as we transition from the not quite so warm Spring. Perfect topper to a dress or to wear for a sexy shrug with lingerie.

Some tunes you just can't get out of your head.  This is a quick post to share the fabulous finds from the latest edition of Collabor88!  The lovely Azure of Tee*fy and LaViere has the perfect pieces for the lady in all of us.  

 I'm in love still with Ava from Belleza! She's just so delicate and striking. Each time Tricky releases, I think it can't get any better. But he always amazes!  Love how they include lipstick options for this skin. It's packaged perfectly!! I wish other designers would take note! (HINT HINT - Include lipstick lines with EACH skin release!!)

The adorb cropped shirt is perfect for pattern mixing this Spring. It's from Nylon Outfitters, I adored the skirt with it but I couldn't help but use the version you can mix with others. Don't get me wrong, I LOVEEEE mesh but if something is made well on clothing layers at a fraction of the cost... why are we all going nuts for mesh only? Mix it up people!

 Everyday I'm just amazed by what our designers are creating. It's like I think I've found Nirvana one day and believe nothing could be better... then the very next day it's something WOW again! The new releases from Glam Affair are pushing the envelope every week. Inspiration coming from RL runways and trends like the Asian inspired Divinity hairpiece.

I'm also in love with the Fur Bolero that Maxi so graciously shared at the Euphoria Limited Bazaar for a generous $150L!  She's a sweetie and her creative fur pieces are a wardrobe staple for any true fashionista!

Most will notice that my styles are always a mix of old with new. It's fun to make one's styles original and fresh - finding pieces from our inventories is essential to standing out when everyone is rushing to wear the latest releases. The MC Escher inspired pieces created by Onyx Leshelle for the Epoch Legend event were priceless really. I love the limited edition finds and always try to snatch up, because you never know when you'll need to dust something off!

Yesterday [sYs] launched the It's My Style PhotoCONTEST!  It should be a great way for all people to share their own personal style.  The prizes are pretty wow too! This contest is for singles, couples, groups, male, female, FURRY! Have fun!

[Optical] Illusions

 Runways this season were covered with bold strokes and graphic silhouettes. It's like designers were pushing colorblocking forward and more extreme. More so I see it as a challenge, like how much is comfortable and just how far can you go! 

I loved playing with the lines of this look with DIRAM's structured yet feminine blazer paired with my new favorite skirt from Indyra. I keep playing with this skirt, really it holds so much possibilities and it's right on trend.

The accents are an unexpected shade of Kermit to shake things up a bit more. I had a lot of fun with this look and would love to see your take on the new stripe trend!

Some days you just feel like throwing on a bit of everything. No rhyme or reason, just having a bit of styling fun. I love to put things together one wouldn't expect and I really had a blast mixing some new with old!

 I'm in LOVE with the new Memoire Pencil skirts from Indyra Originals! So fabulous in the geometrical pattern and a play of color blocking with whites. The new headband from .SHI is a free gift to all group members. You don't want to miss that at all!

[Em & Vi] Countdown

The lovely Emlies joins me today to blog the new McQueen Collection from Countdown! We loved the baroque and avant garde flair from this new collection. Of course, we had to do a little mix and match flair!

I love the little teapot bag that Emlies added to her couture look, very couture/casual clash!  With the new antlers and Amberly Petal Edition skin from Glam Affair, I've cornered the market on couture cute!

I love the colors of blue and peach together! There is a wonderful windlight setting by Annan Adored with this perfect silvery-blue, I jumped over to the Zain sim and threw on a sexy mesh outfit by Hucci and snapped some photos!

Exile is killing it lately with their hair, and I love the ombre fades in Kavar's collection of colors. Very sexy and warm!  Yula of Finesmith has some beautiful new releases including these earrings from the Grapa set.

Just like everyone else in SL, I'm LOVING the new Drift City Pants by Kallisto Destiny!! Such a fabulous design, low rise with color-change HUD for the bow. The pants come in an array of colors with tons of mix/match options. 

I've been eying the  Polka Dot sweater for Emery for weeks, and I finally had a reason to go scoop it up!  The tippet from COCO was a great addition for a little flair, and of course the fabu new clutch from Handverk out now at L'accessories!

[Spice Market]

Meet my friend Vikeejeah Xevion, a fierce stylista and super sassy giggle box! After a fun jaunt at the texture competition (more on that next week :P), we popped over to the still fabulous Zaara sim for photos.

The Zaara sim has been open forever, but it's a wonderful place for photos. The alley holds court to a beautiful spice market. We brought our big bags to hold all of our great finds. Too bad the bags wouldn't hold the cow, he was cute!
