[Isis] for FFL

Fashion For Life 2013 begins March 9th and this year's contributing designers have really wowed us all with their amazing designs!  You'll be a kid in a candy store with the unique fashions and great buys all benefiting the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

The [sYs] design duo of Syane and Systi Cisse put together a cyber-futuristic version of the goddess Isis. The look includes the new Cleo hair, Naomi skin with dynamic make-up with cyber chin jewel that would make even Ramses jealous.   Of course the stunner is a fitted latex gown with animated lights in hieroglyphics.  It was most difficult to capture the lights in a photo, you'll have to take my word for it's fabulousness!

I love how the sisters take real life fashion inspirations and make it their own!  Check out the Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring 2004 collection from John Galliano for more.

Wow! This week has flown by so fast, I cannot believe it's already Wednesday. I didn't have time to post until today. I am a huge fan of Kunglers, the sister design team of Ava and Barbra Kungler are two of the most talented designers I know. You can't help but fall in love with their creations. The Empress collection is their latest jewelry release and it will any lady feel royal.

Unless you have been living under a rock since Saturday, you most certainly are aware of the new ultra feminine shoe collection just released at GOS Boutique. After my shoe coma this weekend, I did come up for air to take a few photos of the stunning Mae in cream.

I love the fan-like detail on the back, something that really makes this shoe stand out. Congrats to Gospel Voom and team on a very successful launch! I can't wait to see what will be coming next.

It's hard to believe this year is nearly gone. Seems like yesterday we just celebrated New Years and that time is nearly upon us again!  I do hope everyone made each moment count in 2012 and are looking forward to all the possibilities of 2013! 

Most of my time lately has been with family in real life, so I was happy to escape for a little SL break the other day. Throwing on LeeZu's new Time Square Overknee Boots, I visited one of the most beautiful sims... Alirium.

I love the warm colors and the soft focus sort of haze of nature at Alirium. You can't help but feel the warmth. For my look, I just played with the yellows from the boots and built with some pieces from Ladies Who Lunch and LpD.

 More newness for you ladies! LeeZu Baxter recently released the lovely Kaya Gown. It's a fitted sheath style dress with flexi attachment to add a little movement that mesh sorely lacks. I love the graybrown version, tres chic!

The daring slit up the side left ample room for my fav thigh-high mesh boots from Baiastice. I find myself popping back over and drooling over the other colors. Maybe Santa will grant my wish! (hint-hint :P)

L'accessories December round opened this weekend with the perfect bow from DRIFT. I really love the look and it's so versatile for any style. Sometimes a little black accent adds a pop of chic to any outfit.

TDR Fusion opens it's doors today at 12pm SLT! It's chocked full of amazing goodness with a ton of designer bargains ranging from 40-70L!  Here's a quick mix I put together with a few awesome pieces. You'll notice I'm channeling a bit of Miss Amy Winehouse today. Can you hear the tunes from my radiooooooo? "I told you I was trouble...I told you I'm no goooooood!"

The new snow leopard coat from Mimikri is a luxe find for a super bargain at TDR Fusion! You can't beat the 70L price. It will make a fierce addition to anyone's wardrobe. I can see you all now banging on thedoors to get in...patience my little ones, it will open soon!!

I'm pretty sure that everyone will be drooling over Siddean Munro's new Vanity boots! With three colors for sale, this bargain is not to be missed. I love the zipper accents on the side. Super amazing mesh of course, I think everything Siddean touches turns to GOLD!

Of course I couldn't live with out one of the awesome finds from The ARCADE, the Tee*fy Cassette Radios. Super cool and perfect for amping up any style!

Magic Nook has wonderful accessories and I adore this new clutch! It's beautifully crafted and comes with color-changing options. Of course I LOVE the ever amazing Glow Studio and there endless selection of accessories, the new So Soft set is perfection and a great bargain at TDR Fusion.

Last but not least, I had to show off the new Nightingale's Glee photography prop from Diesel Works. It's so easy to use and comes with 16 poses. I had fun playing with all the poses and finding the best angles for my look today.

[Biker]chic

COCO has just released the most amazing mesh biker jacket I've ever seen. It's chic and stylish to the max! There is a new collection of turtlenecks and skinny pants to match, but I wanted to personalize it a bit more and play with proportions.

The 10L Y-tank turtleneck from VG on marketplace is a bargain for any fashionista, it is on clothing layers and mixes well with mesh and non-mesh styles. I had this in another color from LONG ago, but happily it's on marketplace now for a STEAL! (Fatpack here for 40L)

I love Celoe, and I could buy their entire store and die happy. It's superbly crafted and so very stylish! Paired with the slim cut of the biker jacket, the wide leg trousers add an interesting look of proportion. I love the pockets on these trousers, they are open just enough to let you know that these must be the most comfy pants in the world!

My skin is from the Glam Affair Lilith line from Aida Ewing, the Artic tone is aptly named for us pale girls. The makeup combos she creates are spectacular! I love the bright pop of blue on the lid and that perfect rose fuschia lip. It's the thing that sets her skinline from the rest, her ability to come up with creative combinations and keep each release fresh! Keep them coming Aida!

[Urban] Chic

 

I adore Giz Seorn to infinity and beyond! She is the sweetest person and a fabulous designer, who along with her partner Auster, make the best couple in SL. GizzA is chock full of amazing creations from casual to couture. There truly is something for everyone - men and women alike!  As one of her "HEROES", I feel everyday like a kid at Christmas from her generosity. Honestly, I don't think I could ever really show her how appreciative I am for all she does for me, her friends and her group. So, here I am today trying to show off her amazing mesh tube dress and clutch!

Mesh really is just fabulous! I love that I can try pretty much any pose and it holds the correct shape. I love the detailing and textures that have more life with the platform. The entire look is mesh except for the hair from Lelutka (it's one of my favs!). 

 The MOLiCHiNO fur collar is on my must-have accessory list for this fall. It's like the perfect fashion pop to any outfit. Aurelia did a fabulous job with this collar and I do hope she releases MORE colors. HINT HINT!

I'm still loving the Faith skin from [PXL]. It's really well made and a much softer version of his traditional skins. He has done a great job putting out the skins too for purchase, you have numerous options for eyes and lips to add to your package. Plus the base skin comes with a freckle options, which I'm so happy for because I don't have to use one of my valuable tattoo layers.

I do love the poses from Slouch by Eira Juliesse!! Her poses are very editorial and perfect for runway or photography. She's currently just on Marketplace until she builds stock to open her inworld location. Stay tuned, because great things are coming from her!

 The talented sisterly duo at [sYs] has released the fabulous new Jungle Collection. It's the perfect fit for any urban jungle. The full-range includes menswear and womens' wear with winter hats, jackets, pants and boots all entirely of MESH!

I love the texture of this dress, it's got a fabulous metallic sheen to it works well on it's own or paired with leggings. It has a classic shape with a surprise cut-out in the back that will WOW! Paired with the fantablous thigh-high boots from [sYs], you'll most definitely make a statement.

I fell in love with the special Baroque edition she created a few cycles ago for Collabor88 and it really fit with this future urban scene!

 

As many may know, I'm a pose whore. Yes the first step is admitting it. I am a junky fiend when it comes to great new poses. The new Miaa line from Diesel Works is a must-have!  Inspired by the uber-amazing Miaa Rebane, this editorial collection gives that added edge to any photos.

Today is all about newness and SALES! First, a stunning cocktail dress from Countdown. The shade of green is so very luscious and decadent. Antonia has released a collection of fanciful cocktail attire that will have us all on the best dressed lists as we head into the New Year. Yes, folks.... 2013 is just around the corner!

The first sale you MUST attend is the 50% off HAT sale at Bliss Couture! I didn't even know where to start, everything is just amazing and feels like something I don't want but NEED!  If you are a hat addict like myself, please don't miss out on this fabulous sale. The sale runs from November 9 - 18, 2012. 

The lovely July Raymaker is a pose maker extraordinaire!  I've long been an addict of Manifeste, and if you are an avid pose collector you will need to take advantage of her specially priced Clean Up 2012 package. You can score 200 poses for only $399! It's a unique collection and I hopped around happily snapping up photos using her well-made poses. Not only for photographers, her poses work extremely well on any runway.

I'll end by showing off my more decadent pieces, Slink mesh hands adorned with jewelry from Donna Flora. Of course the perfect clutch from Baiastice, oddly titled... Queen Hobo. I don't think any Queen would let a Hobo near that purse!

[Garbo]

Movie star chic is the mood for today's style. Something about a top hat with some black and white, that makes any woman feel like they just stepped off the silver screen. It's powerful and sharp!

This sexy number is one of the latest releases from Indyra Originals called Garbo. Full of vintage style and sass, it's a must have for your collection. I love that Indyra mixed mesh with prims flawlessly! Of course the new SLink Mesh Hands are just amazing and make any photograph a breeze to edit because the hands look so terrific. I don't condone smoking, but one just looks so chic with the elegant cigarette holder from The Sea Hole. (No one's health was harmed in the shooting of this blog!)

If you don't have the studio staple, Model Chair from Diesel Works... What are you waiting for? It has 23 poses and a great addition for anyone who blogs. Poses range from classy to seductress. Rogan Diesel's shop is plum full of great poses and collections for any blogger or photographer. I love that he's always updating and adding new collections.

 

I'm still in love with the Lilith skin line from Glam Affair, the Europa tone is just a perfect shade of pale. Not to red and not too grey. Just right and that's hard to do. As always Aida is ahead of the curve with make-ups but you can't go wrong with a classic red lip!

Even with a little classic ones needs a bit of drama! Kungler's jewelry is always a great statement piece. The nightbloom collection is an exceptional chic look for any jewelry buff!

On my toes, the epitome of classic chic...the Zoe Monochrome Platforms from NX-Nardcotix. Nardya outdid herself with these oxfords! She has extended the line with more color options but I've also been in love with the classic, B/W.
