[more] Hair Fair 2014

Here's another installment of my favorite finds from Hair Fair 2014 (check #1 post - HERE)!  The sims are open to the public and I'm sure you've been wading through a bit of lag to get the hairs you want. It's definitely best to make a shopping plan BEFORE you go.  So join me as I wade through the waters for you.

Boho&Innocent

Since relaxed styles are some of favorites, I picked a few boho looks. The long & flowey style from Lamb is stunning, and it paired well with my headwear from Lode.  Of course, Lelutka always nails their Hair Fair releases and this year was no exception. Elua was a new brand to me this year, and this was another sweet&innocent short style I nabbed.

Unique&Trendy

 There were a ton of unique styles at Hair Fair, but none more unique and fun than the collection from Ohmai. She includes all of these fabulous animated birds with the hairs.  I fell in love immediately. Of course I was nabbing the best freebies and this bright piled bun from Blues was a fab find. Ane is a new hair maker and she was kind enough to send me some of her fab styles. The pigtails were so cute and stylish.

Casual&Relaxed

 Freebies are always hit or miss, and I must say that this year's Hair Fair had some fabulous freebie finds like this hat/hair combo from elua.  My fav styles tend to be more relaxed and casual, so the wavy short style from Clawtooth was one of my top finds.  I also loved the full collection from Ison!

Eccentric&Formal

Avant garde styles are perfect for high fashion looks, and I really was wow'd by the styles at .SHI.  The hair accessory that came with the look was a super bonus. Milana has amazing textures, and this over the top pile of loose curls was just an immediate YES.  I nabbed another fab freebie and this coifed style from Miamai was awesome. I did edit it to make it larger and move it to change the look. The basic style rests just atop your crown.

Anya Ohmai has released the most adorable collection of fairies for The ARCADE!  I played with them for hours and couldn't help resist making a little love story.

The September round of Collabor88 opens in just a few hours and I've got a little sneaky peek for you. Let's just say there is a ton of fall goodness just waiting to be scooped up.  I fell in love with the booties from Fri.day and the scalloped sweater from The Secret Store. So, I threw them on and headed over to the fabulously cool PLAAKA sim for some pictures.

Of course I had to mix it up with a few of my favorite finds from The Arcade. You have to love the sunglasses from Glow Studio and the amazing Candy skin from Glam Affair.  If you haven't nabbed up everything from the gachas, you still have 22 days. Someone should do a countdown of that too!

I can't believe how fast this year is rolling by, seems like it was only yesterday we were celebrating New Year's!  Feels good to be heading into Fall though, you can really feel the crispness in the air. You'll be see me diving into some more Fall looks soon.

Oh some tuneage for you lovelies! I randomly heard this song today, Problem by Natalia Kills (Remix). It's totally awesome. Makes you wanna be a bad girl! Enjoy!

The Arcade [Roar]

Happy Labor Day Weekend! Here in the US, we get to enjoy a long and fabulous end of summer weekend.  It turned out perfectly for this year's Arcade. Since I will have off Monday,  I traveled down to the boardwalk to showcase some more finds!

Blogging for The Arcade for the past year has been a tremendous joy! It's an honor to be a part of such a fabulous event. Each round tops the last and that's not an easy task. Thank  you to all of the designers and the Arcade team who work so tirelessly to bring us all something special. Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Collabor88!!  In a few short hours, they officially turn TWO. Everyone has joined in to celebrate their anniversary. And by everyone, I mean over SEVENTY designers contributing to this occasion! So, put on your party dress and Charleston on over!!

This month's theme is all about the Gatsby and the Roaring 20s! This decade filled with decadence and abandon leads itself to some pretty inspirational collections like the Loft's contribution, Alder's Living Room. It's art deco in perfection and the precise backdrop for a fabulous little flapper girl care of the Secret Store.

The ARCADE is still going strong and I had to share a few more finds along with the cutest new release from Elymode! I'm sure most will rock the dress in all it's sexy goodness, but I was feel a bit geeky today.

The adorable cap from Milk Motion was one of my random buys and happily landed the orange one I wanted. My luckiest purchase by far was the boots from Ison. One play and I scored the Rare Floral version. Yes, I squealed! This is totally why gacha is so addictive, you get a little high when you win the rare!

Those LeeZu curtains sure are getting a workout in my studio! I love using them for backdrops and my little house never looked cuter. Score squared!

The ARCADE is opening so very soon! In a few short hours it will open it's sim to everyone to join in the gacha fun. I've been so over the moon to share sneak peeks this week. It's a collector's paradise and you'll want to check out all the wonderful finds!

I love the vintage flowers from Boom with the antlers from Half Deer. The Arcade also marks the pre-release of the Luria skin from Glam Affair. It's a stunner, the lips are just so dewy and perfect.

Also opening soon is FAmeshed and Sissy was lovely to share this upcoming dress for her collection. I love the electric blue and the amazing collar detail. It's a very posh style that any lady will love.

Miamai brings their uber popular Critter Society collection to an accessory line of shoes and bags. I loved the unicorn with the wavy blue hair.  You'll really enjoy the tons of accessories that are coming to The Arcade.

New deliciousness at Collabor88 by Tee*fy, a wide-array of vintage-y pencil skirts with add-on peplum belts. For only 88L you can mix and match to your hearts content. I found some inspiration in Lana Del Ray and got my vintage groove on!

 Perfect accessories are still available at The ARCADE like The Secret Store's amazing satchel. A super find that will be one of your go-to wardrobe staples. Don't forget the new Liaison pumps at Maitreya. They run 875L each, but you have options of with socks and without along with options for sole color, plus you can remove the ankle strap. Tons of options for any look.

A little pop of color with yellows, oranges and pinks gives this look a playful edge. I added the Romantic clutch from Magic Nook, now available at TDR Fusion for a bargain price. Everything at TDR will run you 40-70L!

I love the gold peplum belt add-on, it adds a very luxe feel to the basic beige pencil skirt. Of course I had to pair this look with my favorite Nif Nif gloves from LeeZu and the new knee-high boots from Baiastice.
