/me peeks out from her hideaway...  It's been far to long! Seems every time I find a moment, something pulls me away.  So glad, that my dear friend Miaa Rebane was patient while we organized this shoot.  Really happy to spend some quality time with my bestie!  She's a styling phenom and really we have the most awesome time just hanging out.  It was fun to snap a few piccies while we were enjoying some spoils from the November round of Collabor88. 

Miaa shared a great tip for this post, the shop Little Bones has some great gifties for group members.  We're both wearing styles from the brand and in honor of the find, I'm sharing a little Tegan&Sara tuneage.

Tomorrow the September edition of Collabor88 opens it's doors. You'll be transported to the electric neons of Miami in it's 80s splendor.  Be prepared to rock your vices because we're going retro folks.  So get ready to snatch some pink flamingos and hairspray, it's time for some fabulousness!

I rocked my Collabor88 mix with a super cute crop top from the new Maitreya August '14 release.  Onyx outdid herself with the collection, I'll be showing off some other cute finds in the next post. So much to blog and so little time!!

It's BIRTHDAY time!! Collabor88 celebrates it's 3rd anniversary with a HUGE event featuring 80 different designers all collaborating under the mythological 'Odyssey' theme.  My birthday was Wednesday, so I was super excited to see all of the inspired creations and couldn't wait to finish up this blog post today!

The event runs the month of August, and you'll find great bargains starting at $88L.  There is a little something for everyone, from traditional styles to the more adventurous. I couldn't help but embrace the theme, and I hope you will too!

As always, I have a little music for you. It's nothing new but everyone needs a little JT in their lives, enjoy "Mirrors."

Can you believe that July is almost gone?  Really this year has more than flown by!  Maybe it's all the fabulous shopping we keep getting.  I'm in love with the latest release from ISON, available exclusively at the mainstore.  Plus, today is the last day of Hair Fair 2014 and we've only a week or so left of Collabor88. Better get to it before the deals are gone!

Music is always a part of my creative process! Today I was listening to some fabulous mixes from the wonderful Lumineers to Flosstrasamus (I'll definitely have more from him later!). But for some reason,  "Stubborn Love" keeps playing in my head. Sing along with me..."Keep your head up....keep your LOVE!"

Here's another installment of my favorite finds from Hair Fair 2014 (check #1 post - HERE)!  The sims are open to the public and I'm sure you've been wading through a bit of lag to get the hairs you want. It's definitely best to make a shopping plan BEFORE you go.  So join me as I wade through the waters for you.

Boho&Innocent

Since relaxed styles are some of favorites, I picked a few boho looks. The long & flowey style from Lamb is stunning, and it paired well with my headwear from Lode.  Of course, Lelutka always nails their Hair Fair releases and this year was no exception. Elua was a new brand to me this year, and this was another sweet&innocent short style I nabbed.

Unique&Trendy

 There were a ton of unique styles at Hair Fair, but none more unique and fun than the collection from Ohmai. She includes all of these fabulous animated birds with the hairs.  I fell in love immediately. Of course I was nabbing the best freebies and this bright piled bun from Blues was a fab find. Ane is a new hair maker and she was kind enough to send me some of her fab styles. The pigtails were so cute and stylish.

Casual&Relaxed

 Freebies are always hit or miss, and I must say that this year's Hair Fair had some fabulous freebie finds like this hat/hair combo from elua.  My fav styles tend to be more relaxed and casual, so the wavy short style from Clawtooth was one of my top finds.  I also loved the full collection from Ison!

Eccentric&Formal

Avant garde styles are perfect for high fashion looks, and I really was wow'd by the styles at .SHI.  The hair accessory that came with the look was a super bonus. Milana has amazing textures, and this over the top pile of loose curls was just an immediate YES.  I nabbed another fab freebie and this coifed style from Miamai was awesome. I did edit it to make it larger and move it to change the look. The basic style rests just atop your crown.

[Hair Fair] 2014

Hair Fair 2014 is about to open, and I've spent all day getting the inside scoop on this year's finds!  I was in hair heaven looking through all the shops and loving this year's trends.  Some of the top trends include braids, tousled waves and epic couture styles.

[Braids&Tails]

No hair wardrobe is complete without the perfect braided 'do.  I have to say Lelutka nailed it this year with their side swept plaits.  Another front runner was the pigtail braids from Tram.  A new to me brand, elua, really impressed me with their low ponytail.

[Streetwear&Rainbows]

I loved all the rainbow hues available this year! Tons of options and people really are pushing the envelope with color theory and hair texturing.  I did a bit of mix&match dye job with Lamb since this style is in 2 parts. And you MUST pick up the FREEBIE from (red)Mint.

[Long&Flowey]

One can never have too many long and flowey straight styles and the ones from LoQ'ue, Lamb and Mina are beyond heavenly.  I really loved their natural tones and the loose slightly tousled style.

[Couture&Golden]

The cherry on top this year for me was the really adventurous couture hairstyles.  I fell in LOVE with the geisha-esque style from [sYs], the fans are color change and I must have spent an hour playing with all of the options.  Another winner of course was the amazing couture collection from Miamai, I could have blown my entire budget just in their shop.  Lelutka also won out with their frizzy-wide look. It will a perfect topper to edge out any look.

Warm days are here and it's all about getting outside.  Traveling to the Farmer's Market is one of my favorite things to do in Summer.  You can hop on your bike and pick up some locally grown veggies and homemade jams.The ARCADE is filled with fabulous sets that are perfect for putting together your own little market.

The ARCADE is one of my favorite events in Second Life, along with probably everyone else. I really think people will flip out for this round. It seems everyone keeps just getting BETTER!!

There is a little over a week left on the May '14 Collabor88.  The vintage Milkshakes and Turntables theme was fabulous and I hope you've nabbed all the great bargains!

HOPPY Easter!  I'm over-the-moon tickled today because the Maitreya Spring '14 collection has arrived. And the topping on this already delicious Sunday (sundae pun - oh yes I did!), would be the fact I won the Maitreya Window Dresser Contest. *squeals* My window dressing is currently on display at the mainstore. I hope you love it as much as we do!

Onyx Leshelle, the owner of Maitreya launched a contest in July 2013 searching for people to dress the large window display at the mainstore.  This contest was so much fun, I always have been a vitrine lover and this was a great opportunity to put my creative skills to the test. Although,  please don't ask Onyx about my stick-man drawings. I'm sure you'll only induce giggle fits.

The best part though is the fact you can still enter!   So put on your thinking caps and get on it people! The winner receives 25,000L in store credit and the opportunity for their signed work to be in the window display. Yes I'm still squealing in delight!

On a side note, I really would like to thank Onyx and Beau for the opportunity. I had an amazing time working with you both. It felt truly collaborative and especially enlightening. Much love to you both!

Of course the contest is just amazing, but that's not the only reason you should stop by... there is a fabulously new VIP group gift and TONS of new releases. The shoes above are wonderful, not only because of the new Maitreya Skin Match HUD but also the option of using your SLink feet.  So grab the new releases while they are hot on the shelves. A few hours remain of the March Collabor88, so run pick up these great deals while they're still available. I adored the theme of this edition, filled with perfectly quirky business finds. The color palette was awesome. I fell in love with the mint green color and I've found myself adding hints in all my outfits.
