 Hey guys! Today is a big day, in case you haven't heard...the Belleza Venus Mesh Body was released!! I've had this body for a little while now and thought I could share some tips and tricks. Hope this answers a few questions for those not sure about mesh avatars and also I shared some insight into making it work best for your avatar.

WARNING: There is some pixel nudity that begins around the 6 minute mark.  It's full frontal for about 1 minute,  so I can show the push up breast option.  After that it continues with off/on bare breasts to show fitting clothing until  the nudity ends at the 11 minute mark.

This was my VERY first video, so please be kind.  I had a lot of fun putting it together and I'm totally open to doing more. If there is something I missed, let me know I'm happy to answer questions or even do a Part II.

In just a few short minutes the Fall edition of The Arcade will open it's doors.  There are so many inspirational finds! For this post, I really fell in love with the barn from Stockholm&Lima and this adorable bunny from Half-Deer. Can't wait to see everyone's Arcade piccies. As The Arcade is moments away from opening, this post also serves as a reminder to snatch up the bargain goodies from the August edition of Collabor88.  The birthday celebration will end September 6th so they can prepare for the next round.

While I was writing the post I found myself listening to Passenger. The song 'Whisper' seemed so fitting today.

[Hair Fair] 2014

Hair Fair 2014 is about to open, and I've spent all day getting the inside scoop on this year's finds!  I was in hair heaven looking through all the shops and loving this year's trends.  Some of the top trends include braids, tousled waves and epic couture styles.

[Braids&Tails]

No hair wardrobe is complete without the perfect braided 'do.  I have to say Lelutka nailed it this year with their side swept plaits.  Another front runner was the pigtail braids from Tram.  A new to me brand, elua, really impressed me with their low ponytail.

[Streetwear&Rainbows]

I loved all the rainbow hues available this year! Tons of options and people really are pushing the envelope with color theory and hair texturing.  I did a bit of mix&match dye job with Lamb since this style is in 2 parts. And you MUST pick up the FREEBIE from (red)Mint.

[Long&Flowey]

One can never have too many long and flowey straight styles and the ones from LoQ'ue, Lamb and Mina are beyond heavenly.  I really loved their natural tones and the loose slightly tousled style.

[Couture&Golden]

The cherry on top this year for me was the really adventurous couture hairstyles.  I fell in LOVE with the geisha-esque style from [sYs], the fans are color change and I must have spent an hour playing with all of the options.  Another winner of course was the amazing couture collection from Miamai, I could have blown my entire budget just in their shop.  Lelutka also won out with their frizzy-wide look. It will a perfect topper to edge out any look.

The ARCADE is one of my favorite events in Second Life, along with probably everyone else. I really think people will flip out for this round. It seems everyone keeps just getting BETTER!!

There is a little over a week left on the May '14 Collabor88.  The vintage Milkshakes and Turntables theme was fabulous and I hope you've nabbed all the great bargains!

Happy almost Thanksgiving! This year has been incredibly blessed for me personally and I'm happy to share some LOVE. Thank you to all of the supportive and generous creators who share their amazing designs with us here in our little pixel world.  Here is a little [GOLD] love in return.  

You can still pick up some amazing items at Collabor88 for the November cycle. I really enjoyed this month's industrial theme. The designers really flexed their creative muscles this month! Like this couture chest piece from LaGyo, it's brilliant mechanical flowers really are inventive in the most exciting way.

The [Surreal Life]

Designers United opens September 15th and I'm beyond excited to check out all the wonderful creations. I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of the offering from Tee*fy! (Thank my Zuzu!)  It's surreal yet whimsical in such a beautiful way. It made me feel like a beautiful jellyfish floating through life, unaware that my floating tentacles may cause pain. They are truly surreal creatures and such a perfect inspiration for Tee*fy's Designer United item.

Hope you all will pop over to DU 5 when it opens. I'll be there will bells on ready to snatch up all the fabulous designer offerings.

As always, music is my inspiration a little retro Pixies! This had to be one of my fav tunes of the 90s! "I've kissed mermaids and road the El Nino...walked the sand with the crustaceans." Enjoy the Wave of Mutilation!

Fall is knocking on our doors and I'm so excited about the change in season. It's time to whip out our fur coats and pile on the layers. My inspiration for the post was this fabulous blooming hairpiece from MiWardrobe. I love the mix of rich fall color with the pop of turquoise. It's a perfect accent for any Fall ensemble. Of course, I gathered all my Ma Vie poses and went on a little adventure.

Big apologies for the lateness of this post. I had the photos done over a week ago with intention to post as a reminder to shop before the August round of Collabor88 closed, but I couldn't find time to post before the new round of Collabor88. The Arcade [Dreams]

The Arcade is open and in full swing! Hopefully you all have been able to make it in and collect some fabulous goodies. One of my favorite collections is from the queen of adorable, Azure Electricteeth of Tee*fy.

The ZZZ collection has some uber cute pieces, like the Fluffy Sheep Hat and of course the Lop Eared Bunny Plushie. The collection has an adorable factor times one billion!  The .click. Pillow Fight set was a great way to showcase my new sleep set.

For us in the US it's our last day of a fabulously long weekend to celebrate Labor Day, and although I should be getting ready for dream land I find myself kicking and screaming hoping tomorrow won't come! *sticks tongue out* Boo work!

The Arcade [Bunny]

Happy Birthday to The Arcade!  September 1st marks one full year of gacha fever in Second Life®. This round is phenomenal and I'm really excited to be able to share the scoop with you all. My intro post for this round is all about celebrating the fabulous history with a mix of finds from all of the events last year and exclusive previews of the upcoming edition.

Well I must say I fell head over heels in love with the bunny ears from Half Deer! The one I am wearing is the rare Origami from the September edition. The full collection is adorable but the rare ones are truly special. I really think they will be an inspiration in each of my posts for this round.

Modern [Flapper]

With the latest round of Collabor88 in full swing, the feeds are filled with all of the great vintage inspirations from the Razzle Dazzle 20s inspired theme.  I started thinking more of how to make a look more up-to-date and chic but keeping with that vintage feel. My modern flapper was born.

Challenging myself with this modern flapper look, I wanted also to apply this vintage vs modern quest to my inventory. We often get so wrapped up into buying the NEW,  when we have some fabulous creations gathering virtual dust in our massive inventories.  So this look is all about mixing the vintage with the new to create a cohesive style.

The ISON vest is really a masterpiece and on it's way to be an essential in my wardrobe. Paired with the Victoria shorts from LeeZu, you get a silhouette reminiscent of a traditional flapper dress.  The hair is styled in a completely vintage shape, but the fiery red is perfectly modern.  My accents are some of my unique vintage LeeZu finds mixed with modern mesh trims.
 
In keeping with the theme, it reminded me about my obsession with the Gatsby soundtrack. It's filled with AMAZING tuneage.  Today I was feeling the Andre3000/Beyonce cover of the famous Back to Black. It takes this modern song with a retro vibe from the amazing Amy Winehouse to a whole new level. Listen HERE.

Short&Accessorized

 Hair Fair 2013 has arrived!! Let the excitement begin!  For me, Hair Fair has got to be one of my most favorite events in SL!  I get giddy like Christmas waiting for the sims to open, and can't wait to jump in and see all the newness! Trends for this years event - Accessories, Color, & Whimsy.

Long&Colorful

 I went a little crazy this year nabbing up a ton of styles. Lately, there just hasn't been much hair releases probably because every designer was working hard to put forth these amazing new releases. There really is something for everyone from the avant garde/couture to the everyday with a bit of whimsy.

Mid&Whimsy

Collabor88 July edition opens in just a little over an hour! This month's collection is filled with a wonderful offering of bright colors and a theme of Midsummer! I fell in love with a TON of items this round and ventured off to the Lula sim to snap some piccies.

The Heather ruffle set from Tee*fy is a mix&match delight. There are over 16 colors/patterns to choose from and you can put together a monochromatic romper or go for a paired ensemble like what I'm wearing. I love the dreamy, sweet and flirty mind of Azure! Thankies my dear!!

The Ceryn Flora antlers from Schadenfreude are AMAZING!  The mesh antlers are completely customizable with the HUD. It took me a few moments to figure out how to get different flower colors (I'm sure there are directions but I never read :P), but I finally got the hang of it. This is by far the best antler set I've ever seen in SL! [See the DETAILS below for a photo of the HUD]
 

On my toes, are the perfect summer sandals from ISON. They fit with the SLINK Natural Barefeet and come in 8 colors available at Collabor88.

Summer is always filled with great tunes so this blogpost is all about Maroon5's LOVE SOMEBODY! Spread the LOVE!

 Mice are invading Second Life® courtesy of the uber talented Systi and Syane Cisse, designer duo of [sYs]. The new [MousYs] ClubWear collection launched today with a party at GOL.  It was very cool to see everyone partying with their [MousYs] ears!

 The collection is themed with an alien mice motif in tribal, skulls, union jack and DJ patterns. The sisters outdid themselves. You'll find tanks, tees, jeans, shorts, skirts, dresses, shoes, sunglasses, and necklaces! For girls and guys, there is something for everyone!

Thank you also to the lovely Mavi Beck of MaVie for sending over some fabulous poses that are now available for Lazy Sunday at her Mainstore. 

I was very honored to model and also shoot the collection advertisement featuring the [sYs] models! [Yes, I was in a hot model sandwich - jealous?]

It's been a super busy couple of months but I'm finally getting my groove back! Expect to see more posts coming.  And to all that need some fun music, I'm loving this remix of MIley Cyrus' We Can't Stop ---- TUNEAGE

Today is all about Collabor88 romantic goodness!  According to this mural at Tableau, "All you need is Love. And in the End, the love you take is equal to the love you make."  I can't think of a better sentiment! 

Feeling the romantic pink LOVE...I watched the 80s classic, Pretty in Pink with Molly Ringwald the other day and I couldn't help but think this would be an outfit Andie would totally adore. The looks she rocked were very inspiring, and I can't help think...WWAD? So, if you see some more PINK posts...you'll know why!

Don't forget to pick up all the amazing pink&cream goodness at Collabor88 this month! If you're a girlie girl, you'll love the soft looks and pretty color palettes.

Second Life just launched the Fresh Spring editions of the new homepages - HERE. They kindly asked me to share a photo for this round and the lovely Sophia Harlow joined me! Our theme was Spring Fashion and we wanted to show off some fun color and attitude!

Some tunes you just can't get out of your head.  This is a quick post to share the fabulous finds from the latest edition of Collabor88!  The lovely Azure of Tee*fy and LaViere has the perfect pieces for the lady in all of us.  

 I'm in love still with Ava from Belleza! She's just so delicate and striking. Each time Tricky releases, I think it can't get any better. But he always amazes!  Love how they include lipstick options for this skin. It's packaged perfectly!! I wish other designers would take note! (HINT HINT - Include lipstick lines with EACH skin release!!)

The adorb cropped shirt is perfect for pattern mixing this Spring. It's from Nylon Outfitters, I adored the skirt with it but I couldn't help but use the version you can mix with others. Don't get me wrong, I LOVEEEE mesh but if something is made well on clothing layers at a fraction of the cost... why are we all going nuts for mesh only? Mix it up people!
