Today was the opening of Menswear Fashion Week 2012 and I decided to show two special items created for this event.

The first style is one more classy with a fresh spring look. The other is more edgy with the fishnets and minimalist mesh style.

Mattie threw down a challenge tonight to see who could style something Sleek & Chic the fastest. I cheated at first and put on a folder I already had ready. He said of course that didn't count...only because I won (:P).

Escape for the Holidays

Mattie and I are off for an adventure for our Holidays! SL has been so much work lately, and it's going to be nice to escape from the everyday. Enjoying some time together to explore ourselves and SL!

[AVENUE] Magazine December 2011

One of my favorite things in SL has been my work with AVENUE Magazine. As Fashion Editor, I've been able to interview the most talent people and share my own views on fashion and style. I've been writing my column, "Fun With Fashion", for three years. It seems like only yesterday and I have to say that I've grown ALOT. I'll save a flashback post for later. IF people ask :P


This month I'm sure you attended the most fabulous Vintage Fair brought to you by Keira Seerose and her team at Chic Management. It was a resounding success and I found inspiration from the theme and also the War Horse editorial in November Vogue.

The Bettencourts

Mattie and I have been busy for weeks with our new home at The Grove. Finding the perfect house, decorating, working with the landscapers, and having really the best time. We have completely neglected the blog and our favorite past time of shopping!

We're in love with MESH at the moment. I've been fighting to stay on Phoenix but with all the wonderful creations in Mesh, I have been slowly moving to Firestorm. Today marks my first full day in the viewer. I usually log in, take a picture and leave. But, today was the first time I felt really comfy without urge to reach out for my paci..errr Phoenix. I do miss the interface, but there are some amazing tutorials out there to make it user-friendly to us "die-hard" Phoenix lovers. Do check them out, Mattie showed me and it was a huge help to making the transition easier.

Sorry for the tangent it's been a while and I wanted to share, but back to FASHION! With all the new MESH items, clothing, shoes, and even cars...we couldn't resist a post incorporating our current faves.

The new mesh knit coat from Mr. Poet is like cozy perfection while still remaining chic. Both Matt and I are wearing it - a dream fit on us both! It's nice not to have to edit prims.

*Vi's Fav*
Nardya Rousselot released her first mesh creation, the Zoe Platform as an OGlam Shopping exclusive. I love the classic oxford style with the chunky platform. Everyday I keep looking for that upload to RL button.

*Matt's Fav*
The Mesh BMW! I should make him write this part because he's been GAGA over it for a week now but I have to say it's brilliant. The top rolls down, the hood raises, and the textures are highly detailed. Mesh is a wonderful platform for automobiles.

We hope you find your own fun with MESH! I know soon we will be seeing more furniture, houses, decorations, and more! As Mattie, says..."It's the future." So jump on board the Mesh train!

Modavia Fashion Week continues and we just are over the moon with fashion-gasms! LWL and Osakki had amazing shows today, just wow looks all day! And, the menswear from TV really stood out.
